The B-52 probably is the most famous bomber in the aviation history, known even to non-aviation experts, made famous by the key role he played in the Cold War and the apparitions in many war and action movies.
The first B-52 flight took place on April 15, 1952, and it entered service in 1955; today, the B-52 Stratofortress still be in service and its retirement is not expected until 2040: at that point, the older models will have 80 years of service!
This MOC is a 1:80 scale restoration of the B-52 Stratofortress, designed in every detail and with all the features of the real bomber:
